Research, Applied Technology, Education Service, Inc (RATES) is a Texas non-profit corporation, a 509(a)2, with a primary office located in Corpus Cristi, Texas and an east coast office in Potsdam, New York. RATES is organized for purposes including the promotion and coordination of collaborative and cooperative use of technology by and among colleges and other educational and community service organizations, the provision of advanced information technology facilities and related services to participating organizations, and the performance of scholarly and academic research.
